Blood circulation is a vital function that carries oxygen and nutrients to all of the horse’s cells. The bloodstream also has the important job of carrying carbon dioxide and waste products away from the cells. With age, this transport system often works less efficiently – in horses as well as humans – which can show up as stiffer muscles and slower recovery. The condition of the blood vessels is very important for circulation, and the nitric oxide molecule is essential for elastic, well-functioning blood vessels.

A healthy, elastic blood vessel supports good circulation by stretching and contracting as the blood passes through.

Atletix Horse can be given both dry and wet and its effect is not reduced by being soaked. It is always advantageous to divide the daily dose into two or more doses, but if this is not possible, it is fine to give the daily dose at one time. Atletix Horse is palatable to most horses, while some pickier horses may need a period of acclimatization with a smaller dose that is slowly increased.

Adjust the dose to your horse’s weight, condition and workload. A lower dose is generally recommended for ponies and horses in light work. When demands are higher – competition weekends or long transports, for example – the dose can be increased further (e.g. +1–4 scoops) to give your horse maximum support.

Yes! Atletix Horse has no withdrawal period under the rules of the Swedish Trotting Association (ST), the Swedish Equestrian Federation (SvRF), the FEI, USEF and AQHA. Always check the current rules that apply to your discipline and competition.

No, there is no research on Atletix horse, however, there is a lot of research on the individual ingredients. The company behind Atletix horse (BIOCONCEPT AB) has a similar supplement for humans called Flexovital and a study has been conducted on it that has been published in the scientific journal NUTRIENTS. The maltodextrin in Atletix Horse is there for purely functional reasons. Our highly concentrated amino acids naturally absorb moisture and get “sticky” – the maltodextrin acts as a necessary carrier that prevents lumps and ensures consistent quality. We deliberately chose maltodextrin because it is a natural, plant-based starch. Unlike many synthetic anti-caking agents, maltodextrin is something the horse’s body is used to handling and breaking down.

Each scoop contains only 2.9 g of maltodextrin. That is a negligible amount compared with the horse’s total diet and has no practical effect on blood sugar or energy metabolism. It simply works as a natural stabiliser that makes the product taste good and easy for you to dose correctly in the stable.

Please note: when exercising your right of withdrawal, you as the customer pay the return shipping costs.

The most common reason for a package not being collected is that an incorrect phone number or email address has been provided, causing you to miss your notification. Therefore, always be extra careful when entering your contact details during ordering.

Since an uncollected package that is returned costs us SEK 200, we charge a fee of SEK 125 to cover part of our expenses if the order needs to be re-sent to you.

As soon as we have received and approved your return, we will start your refund. The money is returned to the account or payment method you used for the purchase within 14 days.
